Or if you feel like a captain, rent a Gabarot, a 7 or 10-seater boat without a license with a combustion engine. For 5km from the St Roch lock to the Planque lock, you will navigate in the shade of century-old plane trees.

Lake Saint-Férréol
The Lac de Saint-Férréol is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, surrounded by greenery. It is a water reserve for the Canal du Midi, surrounded by the first tree-covered peaks of the Montagne Noire.
It's the ideal place to spend some quality time, with supervised bathing in summer, a leisure centre for catamarans, windsurfers and stand-up paddlers, and restaurants with great views over the lake. You can also take one of the many hiking trails starting from the lake.
