Discover the Canal du Midi by boat

Departing from the Quai du Port in Castelnaudary, you can go aboard the Saint Roch to discover the Canal du Midi, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, its history, its fauna and its flora.
Or if you feel like a captain, rent a Gabarot, a 7 or 10-seater boat without a license with a combustion engine. For 5km from the St Roch lock to the Planque lock, you will navigate in the shade of century-old plane trees.

Lake Saint-Férréol 

The Lac de Saint-Férréol is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, surrounded by greenery. It is a water reserve for the Canal du Midi, surrounded by the first tree-covered peaks of the Montagne Noire.
It's the ideal place to spend some quality time, with supervised bathing in summer, a leisure centre for catamarans, windsurfers and stand-up paddlers, and restaurants with great views over the lake. You can also take one of the many hiking trails starting from the lake.

Lac de la Ganguise

With its 280 hectares and 300 days of wind a year at an average of force 4, Lac de la Ganguise is an internationally renowned windsurfing spot and a popular resort for water sports. You can hire a wide range of boats (catamaran, dinghy, windsurf, funboard, paddle, pedalo, canoe, mountain bike), take lessons or attend a course.

Bram waterski lift

This is a great place to discover water sports such as kneeboarding, water skiing, wakeskating, handiwake and wakeboarding. 
The ski lift allows up to 7 skiers to glide simultaneously over magnificent water towed by a cable on a closed circuit 600 metres long.
